Every woman should get a basic checkup each year. During this routine
exam, Dr. DeLee will perform a pelvic and breast exam to assess your
reproductive health. A Pap smear is also conducted to detect the presence of
abnormal cervical cells and screen for any signs of cervical cancer.
Dr. DeLee provides birth control counseling to determine the
best method that will accomodate your lifestyle.
Mothers-to-be need regular checkups to prevent potential health problems
that could threaten their health or the health of their unborn baby.
Dr. DeLee works with mothers whose age, medical conditions or lifestyle
choices may put them at risk for complications during delivery.
Dr. DeLee performs fetal monitoring in his office. This
allows mothers-to-be and their support system to regularly check on the health
of the unborn baby.
VBAC, vaginal birth after
cesarean, is possible in certain circumstances.
If you've had a cesarean section in the past but would prefer to attempt
a vaginal birth, Dr. DeLee will help assess the risks to you and your baby and
develop a care plan to facilitate a safe vaginal delivery.
Dr. DeLee offers options to women and couples who have not
been able to conceive on their own.
